App concepts, design and development for the enterprise

Within the enterprise, mobility and apps are playing an important role in optimizing the user experience for employees and customers. With years of experience in concept development, design and development, our team supports organisations in this process, helping them to ride the mobility and apps wave!

What we offer

We work closely together on a common goal, solving your business problems using enterprise mobility. Using multiple ideation techniques we work towards a solution with your organisation.

Functional design

Using personas, user stories and user journeys, the requirements and structure of the solution can be set. This ensures the end-user perspective is at the core of the solution.

Mobile design

Methods like wireframing and creating flowcharts make up for a good translation of the user stories and user journeys towards a logical and functional mobile solution. After making sure the flow is fine, the definitive, final design will be created.

Mobile development

Based upon the wireframes, requirements and designs a development approach is chosen. This is done on a per-project basis to meet the specific needs determined during the design phase. Development, both native and hybrid, can be done for iOS, Android and Windows (Phone).

Feedback & support

Of course, delivering a mobile solution requires continuous feedback and support. In this way we can make sure the solution stays up-to-date and meets latest standards and new business requirements.

In the IntoBlue weeksprint we walk with you through the steps to solve a problem present at your organisation. In just five days we go through the ideation, design, prototype and feedback process, ending up with a proper business case and solution for the organisation that can be used to move forward.

The weeksprint process

Day 1 – Ideate & choose

We start with investigating the expertises that are present within the team and setting the scope. After that, the problem statement will be introduced for which ideas and possible solutions are being generated. From this, user stories can be defined to pinpoint requirements and a final choice concerning a solution is being made.

Day 2 – Design & prepare

From the chosen idea and the generated user stories, a translation will be made to user journeys in combination with wireframes that describe the flow of the solution. In which way will the users be interacting with it? These wireframes can then be tested and a scope and method for prototyping the solution will be chosen. Some of the key wireframes will be developed towards a full design.

Day 3 – Prototype

Based on the scope, user journeys, wireframes and designs within a day a first prototype of the solution will be delivered. The prototype will be built iteratively which means there will be continuous test- and feedback rounds during this process within the team.

Day 4 – Refine

After a more extensive test and feedback round within the team, final adjustments to the prototype are being made. In parallel, a presentable business case based on problem statement, solution and prototype will be created to present on the final day.

Day 5 – Test & feedback

An external group of people within the organisation get the chance to watch the business case and test the prototype. With their feedback and remarks, a strategy can be formulated on how to move forward with the concept. This concludes an amazingly productive week in which you have moved from problem to a working solution!
